Programs and services especially for children.

The Blakesburg Public Library will let any age of children use the internet as long as they have a written permission slip signed by a adult. As for the 2 computers in the kids area they don't need a permission slip signed for that due to the fact they are not hooked up to the internet.

Internet Policy

1. Must have a card signed by parent, any one under 18 years of age.

2. Must sign in to use the computer, 30 minutes at a time.

3. Copies are 10 cents per page, for printed material.

4. Games may not be played if people are waiting to use the computer.

5. We do not provide mail service.

6. The library does'nt control any of the resources available through the internet.

7. The staff will make every effort to provide access to reliable sources on the internet.

Users May Not

1. Use the workstation for illegal or criminal purposes.

2. Work station to gain unautherized access to other net works.

3. Make attempts to alter or damage computer hard ware, if any damage is done to computer or hardware fines will be accessed, according to cost of repair
